WeatherProof

Protection behind the façade.

WeatherProof board finish strip

What it is

Homogeneous, non-asbestos autoclaved cellulose fibre cement board developed as a mineral wind barrier behind façade systems. Completely uncoated, natural light grey. Not intended as a permanently exposed finished façade surface.

Expressions

WeatherProof

Uncoated

Natural light grey mineral surface. No separate facing, adhesive or composite layer.

The board

WeatherProof

The finish strip stays in place. The turnable board loads only after you open it. It shows face, thickness and edge from that strip. It is not a CAD model.

Finish strip from the 2026 image set. Not a CAD model. The thickness is a geometric study, not a measured sample.

Formats

The sheets on the record.

  • 1200 × 2700 mm
  • 1200 × 3000 mm

These are the sizes the calculator is allowed to count. Not an installation layout.

Reserved frames are empty on purpose. The finish strips already delivered are not requested again. Send a new photograph in sRGB, as JPG or WebP, at the size named on the frame, with no watermark. Vivid, Rough and Heavy-Duty still need a face photograph. Skanfas confirms the rights before a picture is published.

The A1 classification applies to the homogeneous, uncoated board within the field of BRE Global 292606-2. A coated, faced or otherwise modified product needs the fire classification of that finished system. WeatherProof does not replace project waterproofing, air-tightness or flashing.

Use

Where it is specified

Wind barrier behind a designed façade system, in new construction and renovation.

Interior and exterior wall assemblies, subject to system design and local requirements.

Not a permanently exposed finished façade.

Fabrication

Factory cut-to-size, drilling and machining are available.

Fabrication

Site cutting requires suitable fibre-cement tooling and dust extraction.

Fabrication

Fastener type, centres, edge distances and joint treatment come from the project design, not from a generic diagram.
